Silfiac Fishing Holidays is an English-owned
business based in the village of Silfiac in Brittany,
France. We are fortunate to have our own private
grounds and a very large house, rather than mobile
homes, to offer our clients.

Where We Are
We are one hour from Roscoff ferryport and Brest
airport, fifteen minutes from Pontivy, five minutes
from Cleguerec and Gouerec and moments away
from the different lakes. We provide all of our
clients with maps and directions as required.

Local Information and Links
Silfiac is an area steeped in history, controlled by the
Germans during World War Two and home to a
member of the French Resistance. It survived and
evolved, becoming revolutionary in its own right with
the construction of an "Eco-Village" on the outskirts,
which has gained nationwide publicity.

Monday, offering local arts
and crafts, clothes, local food,
fruit and vegetables. It boasts
a Rohan period chateau
which overlooks the River
Blavet. Canoes can be hired
in Pontivy for use on this river.
